Kathrin Braunwarth: Kathrin has worked for AXA Switzerland as CIO and Member of the Executive Board since September 2023. She is responsible for the “Data, Technology, and Innovation” department.

She previously held various positions at Allianz Germany, and was most recently Head of IT at Versicherungskammer, an all-risks insurer under public law in Germany. Kathrin has many years of experience in IT management roles at insurance companies, as well as broad expertise in process management, operational organization, application development, and IT infrastructure operation.

Her academic career includes a commercial diploma in business administration, a Master’s degree in Financial Management & Electronic Commerce, and a doctorate in Business IT from the University of Augsburg and the University of Calgary. She also holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Applied IT, and was a scholarship student at Bayerische EliteAkademie.

She is married and has two daughters.
